Jaws of consuming fire
Raging in your sound
Ready to make embers fly, burning your heart.
Flames lick at the windows
Of the memory houses.
Happiness constantly dousing the fire
Until it gives up
And moves away
Revealing smoldering rubble of tragedy
Behind.
